Flightgift for Buyers and Senders
How will I receive my Flightgift?
You can choose from three delivery options:
- Email: we instantly email a digital Flightgift straight to the recipient's email address. They will receive an animation of the voucher and you will receive the confirmation email. You can have a look at the demo here.
- Physical: we ship a physical silver Flightgift to your address for you to sign and give to the recipient in person. Please allow 2-6 working days for delivery.
- Printable PDF: we instantly email a personalized printable PDF to your email address for you to print, sign and give to the recipient in person.
How much should I give the recipient?
If you're unsure how much to put on a Flightgift, you could cross check the prices of flights. Even though they are arranged real-time and could fluctuate, it does give an indication of what the price range is for the flight they might want to book. You can check flight prices on our bookings engine.
If you give an amount that's not sufficient for the flight the recipient chooses, the recipient pays the remaining amount.
Alternatively: if a recipient has some money left on their voucher after booking a flight, they can use the rest of the value another time.

What should I do if I haven’t received my confirmation email?
You should receive your order confirmation email within 5 minutes after your payment.
If this is not the case, it might be lost in your spam folder.

Flightgift for Recipients
How do I redeem a Flightgift?
Redeeming a Flightgift can be done on our booking engine. There you can search for all available flights to your desired destination. If you've found the one you like, you simply proceed with the steps indicated. At the checkout, you will be asked to enter your Flightgift code, alongside your payment details (if necessary) and you're done!

Do I need to activate my Flightgift before redeeming it?
No, you can simply make a booking with your Flightgift immediately via our booking engine.

No, you can only redeem your Flightgift for a flight booking made via our booking engine.

How can I cancel or change my booking?
Customer initiated flight cancellations generally lead to only a minor refund or no refund at all. If you wish to cancel your reservation, please send us an email with your booking details. Note that an admin fee applies for cancellation/change requests and it varies depending on the airline policy.
Airline initiated flight cancellations generally lead to a full refund of the ticket price. If your flight is cancelled please contact the Flightgift Support Team. Please note that any refund procedure can take up to 30 days from the moment that the flight has been cancelled. All refunds are loaded on the gift card that was used to make the booking.
Flight modifications can either be made on the airline website directly by the passenger or, if direct amendments on the airline website are not possible, through the Flightgift Support Team.
In the case of a no-show (i.e. remaining absent from the booked flight), there will be no refund.

What is the minimum order amount to place a B2B order?
In general, we create custom orders from €/$/£ 1000. However, if you have a different request, please contact us to discuss the possibilities.

What do I do when I don’t have the recipient’s name (yet)?
The recipient's name field is a required feature in the Flightgift creation process. However, if you don't know who the recipient will be yet (for example when the Flightgift is meant as a raffle prize) you can be a little creative with the name depending on what kind of prize you want to give:
- Email: you can fill in something else. An example could be 'For the ultimate winner' ;)
- Printable PDF: you can fill in the same thing as described in 1. Or you could fill in a series of dots like '.................'. So that after printing it, you can just grab a pen and write the name of the recipient.

How will I receive the Flightgifts?
You can choose from three delivery methods:
- Email: send digital Flightgifts directly to the recipient’s email address. The recipient will receive an email with an animation containing the Flightgift (example: https://www.flightgift.com/demo/)
- Printable PDF: receive a printable PDF at your (purchaser’s) email address. You can print the attachment in your office, fold it as a postcard and give the Flightgifts immediately in person to the recipients.
- Physical: Receive physical Flightgifts by regular mail. We will design and print custom Flightgifts for you and send these by mail. Please allow approximately one week of shipment time for this option. We ship from the Netherlands, United States, and Australia to any destination worldwide.

Can multiple Flightgifts be used for one booking?
It is not possible to redeem several gift cards for one booking. The Flightgift bookings engine allows only one gift voucher per booking. If you're a wedding couple and seeking a custom solution, please a contact us at support@flightgift.com.

What if my Flightgift is lost?
If your Flightgift is lost, email us immediately with your name, email address and the original purchase receipt. Provided the Flightgift has not already been redeemed, we will deactivate the lost Flightgift and give you a new one.
Please note that you must agree to provide all reasonable information and assistance to help us investigate the loss of the Flightgift.

Flightgift operates globally. You can buy and redeem a Flightgift from all over the world via our website. Please note that we cannot guarantee that you will find a flight with a specific airline as this depends on the availability when you are searching for your flight.
